PWHL Montreal took on New York last night and even though they lost the game in the shootout, they are tied in first place with Minnesota this morning.

From the games I have watched, Montreal has been inconsistent all season.

They should be better than their record, something is just not working on that team. Yeah, they are tied at the top of the standings, so there is that, but I do not think they are a good "team" right now.

I completely agree, the team is not playing well. They find ways to win, mostly through great goaltending and individual plays, but they can't keep that up, especially once the playoffs arrive. I think a little bit of line blender is in order, seems to me the lines aren't really clicking. I don't really know what they need, but Cheverie has to figure it out (I say play with more speed, dump the puck and apply pressure instead of making tons of passing play, but maybe that's not the style adapted to the personel).
